IoT & telemetry platform: PulseCore
PulseCore is the connected device management platform built by KERN-IT: fleet inventory, real-time telemetry, mapping, alerts and client portal in a single platform. Paid monthly, all inclusive, with no upfront investment: that is our leasing formula. And if you prefer it to carry your colours instead of ours, it comes as white label.
It is one of our business platforms: complete software, designed, hosted and maintained by our team in Brussels. PulseCore takes the pulse of your machines: satellite terminals, routers, vehicles, sensors, drones or urban equipment, every device reports its measurements to the same place. This foundation grew out of ten years in the field: multi-operator networks supervised across thousands of sites, fleets of satellite terminals and tens of thousands of SIM cards invoiced every month, down to professional machines and self-service kiosks whose embedded electronics and telemetry we designed ourselves.
Every business platform ships with an operations AI assistant: ask questions in plain language (which sites lost signal overnight, which sensors are drifting, which SIMs exceed their plan) and it fetches answers from your data, read-only and fully traceable.

Your entire connected fleet in one platform
Fleet & inventory
Enroll all your devices: Peplink routers, Starlink terminals, LoRaWAN sensors, vehicle trackers, drones. Groups, sites, firmware and SIM cards tracked in one place.
Real-time telemetry
Signal, throughput, temperature, position, battery: every measurement is stored as time series and visualised in clear dashboards, from the whole fleet down to one device.
Alerts & rules
From business thresholds (cold chain, geofence, signal loss) to automatically detected drifts: the platform notifies the right person by email, SMS or ticket.
Client portal & invoicing
Your clients track their devices, usage and tickets in their own space. Subscriptions and usage flow into invoicing, PEPPOL e-invoicing included.
And everything that keeps operations running
Mapping
Inherited from our KernMap base: your sites and vehicles on a map, with statuses, signal quality and coverage zones. A fleet is also managed with the eyes, as in our mapping tools.
Edge computing & firmware
Scheduled firmware updates, remote configuration and processing deployed at the edge: data is filtered close to the field, the network only carries what matters.
Integrations & protocols
MQTT, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, vendor APIs (Peplink InControl, Starlink), vehicle CAN/FMS buses, SIM operators: existing connectors, and the team to build yours.
A glimpse of the platform
In practice, a day with PulseCore looks like this: a truck loses signal on the motorway, the "connection lost" rule opens a ticket and dispatch follows its last known position. A cold room exceeds 8 °C, the client gets an SMS before the goods suffer. Meanwhile, measurements from the whole fleet accumulate and feed the morning reports.
The fleet dashboard: every morning, you know what is running, what is alerting and what dropped off, without opening five vendor consoles.
- Online and offline devices at a glance
- Recent alerts prioritised by severity
- Site map with real-time statuses
- Ingested measurements and fleet availability

A device page, here a refrigerated truck: its live telemetry, history and events on a single page.
- Speed, temperature, signal and consumption as curves
- Firmware, SIM card and last contact
- Timestamped event log
- One-click ticket creation
Alert rules: you describe your business thresholds once, the platform watches day and night.
- Thresholds per device group: cold chain, geofence, antenna obstruction
- Actions of your choice: SMS, email, ticket, notification
- Severities and test mode before activation
- Detection of abnormal sensor drifts

Vendor consoles and spreadsheets vs your digital core
Before
- One console per brand, a spreadsheet for the inventory
- Alerts land in a mailbox nobody reads
- Vehicle positions in one tool, their SIMs in another
- Every incident is reconstructed by hand
After
- The whole fleet, all brands, on a single screen
- Rules notify the right person at the right time
- Telemetry, SIMs, firmware and invoicing cross-check
- The incident history is already written
Who is it for?
Operators & integrators
Telecom operators, connectivity integrators, Starlink or Peplink resellers: PulseCore becomes your supervision and your client portal, under your brand.
Industry & logistics
Vehicle fleets, cold chain, workshop machines, remote sites: telemetry flows in, thresholds keep watch, maintenance steps in before the breakdown.
Public sector & energy
Smart city, environmental sensors, wind turbines, construction sites: a dispersed public fleet is managed like any other, with maps and shareable reports.
Designed and supported in Belgium by the KERN-IT team, hosted in Europe. Your data is yours: exportable at any time, guaranteed reversibility, GDPR by design.
Support is local too: you talk to the people who build the platform, not to an anonymous call centre. An issue reported in the morning is often fixed the same day, and your feature requests feed directly into the product roadmap.
How does it work? Made-to-measure software
Generic SaaS tools are frustrating: you end up juggling a dozen of them to cover your business, and none quite fits. Full custom development costs a lot and takes months. Our business platforms are made-to-measure: a proven base, adjusted precisely to your operation.
1. A base already tailored
PulseCore exists and already runs: inventory, telemetry, mapping, alerts, client portal. The core of the business is built and proven in production, and you do not fund its development.
2. Adjusted to your fleet
Your devices, your thresholds, your connectors (an exotic protocol, an ERP, a business algorithm): from configuration to modules custom-built by the team born from IoT development. Up to white label if you wish: your clients supervise their fleet under your brand, we stay invisible backstage.
3. Paid monthly, all inclusive
Hosting, backups, updates and support included. The monthly fee is set by two dials: how much custom work you want, and how fast you want to move. It includes a yearly reserve of development days, and a purchase option can be written into the contract, like a real leasing.
Your onboarding
1. Personalised demo
A demonstration on your real use cases: your devices, your thresholds, your clients. You see the platform work through an operator's eyes.
2. Connectors & configuration
Hooking up your sources: Peplink InControl, Starlink, SIM operators, sensors, vehicle trackers. White label: your visual identity and your domain applied.
3. Fleet enrollment
Import of your inventory, SIM cards and history from your files or previous tools. You start with a system that is already filled.
4. Launch & support
Team training, client portal opening, ongoing support. The platform then evolves with your feedback.
Frequently asked questions
Our business platforms are complete software products developed and operated by KERN-IT, each ready to use for a given sector. PulseCore for connected device fleets, CoworkCore for coworking, FacilityCore for facility management, MuseCore for museums. You benefit from a mature product without funding its development, and it stays customisable because we master all of their code. It is made-to-measure software: a proven base, adjusted to your operation, instead of a dozen generic tools or a full build to fund. All our platforms are presented on this page.
Anything that transmits: routers and modems (Peplink and others), Starlink satellite terminals, LoRaWAN or NB-IoT sensors (temperature, humidity, energy), CAN/FMS vehicle trackers, drones, urban equipment, kiosks and connected machines. A device without an existing connector? We build it, down to the embedded electronics if needed: sensors, control boards and telemetry units have been part of our craft for ten years.
PulseCore works as an all-inclusive monthly subscription, with no upfront investment: like a leasing, the monthly fee covers full use of the platform, and a purchase option can be included. It is set by two dials: how much custom work you want, and how fast you want to move, with a yearly reserve of development days included, sized also to your telemetry volumes. It replaces several licences, hosting and management time. We present a costed proposal during the demo.
The monthly fee is not money down the drain: it covers full use of an operated platform (hosting, support, evolutions) and the development days that move it forward. A purchase option can be written into the contract: after an agreed period, you buy your platform and switch to a simple maintenance contract. And at any time, your data can be exported in open formats.
White label means the platform carries your brand instead of ours, up to offering it as your own product. Logo, colours, typography, domain name, email and report templates: everything your clients see carries your brand. KERN-IT appears nowhere if you prefer.
Yes. The foundation is designed for large-scale time series: millions of measurement points per day, aggregated and retained according to your rules. Platforms built on the same foundations have been supervising thousands of sites and tens of thousands of devices in production for years.
On servers in Europe, GDPR compliant. Daily backups, encrypted exchanges, audit log of sensitive actions. Dedicated hosting is available for operators who require it.
The commitment stays flexible: the plan is sized and terminated under clear conditions, presented during the demo. If you stop, you get all of your data back in open formats: reversibility is part of the contract.
