VENN Telecom is a Belgian integrator of hybrid enterprise connectivity: Peplink SD-WAN, Starlink LEO and multi-operator 5G. Their clients are companies operating in hard-to-connect environments: mining sites, construction projects, maritime operations, energy infrastructure.
In 2019, VENN managed nearly 1,000 devices spread across three disconnected tools: Odoo, Excel and Peplink InControl. Every invoice, every SIM consumption report was done manually. Opening new markets meant hiring more coordination staff. Growth had a ceiling.
KERN-IT built the operational core of the company: a unified platform connecting the Starlink V2 API, Peplink InControl and Odoo in one place. Unlike traditional BSS/OSS telecom tools designed for large carriers, this solution was built for the reality of a fast-growing integrator.
Five years later, VENN manages 8,000+ sites across 4 countries and automatically generates more than 8,000 billing lines per month. Revenue has multiplied by 5, without inflating headcount.
The challenge
In 2019, VENN Telecom managed nearly 1,000 devices - Peplink SD-WAN routers, Starlink terminals and SIM cards - across three disconnected tools: Odoo, Excel and Peplink InControl. Every invoice, every data and SIM consumption report was done manually. The result: errors, wasted time, and growth that couldn't accelerate without hiring more staff.
Unified hybrid connectivity
The platform connects all of VENN's systems in one place: Peplink InControl (SD-WAN management), Starlink V2 API (terminals, service lines, synchronised usage), multi-country SIM operators. A single interface to manage all hybrid connectivity - fibre, 4G/5G, satellite - across 8,000+ deployed sites in 4 countries.
Integrated client portal
Each VENN customer accesses their own space: data consumption tracking, equipment deployed on site, invoices, support tickets, without contacting the VENN team. The portal is multilingual and also available to reseller partners via a dedicated access.
Smart billing
The platform handles complex rules: flat rates, actual SIM consumption, shared data pools, overages. Invoices are generated automatically and pushed to Odoo without manual re-entry. More than 8,000 billing lines are produced every month.
Active network monitoring
Continuous monitoring of Peplink routers and Starlink terminals across the entire fleet. Configurable alerts, site geolocation, performance history and telemetry are available directly in the management interface.
