A solidarity program to build lasting visibility for Belgian non-profits

At KERN-IT, we have always placed sharing and the transmission of knowledge at the core of our mission.
It began with a simple gesture: deciding to offer a website to an association.

A gesture that felt obvious, natural… yet it profoundly transformed us.

This first project revealed a broader reality:

  • A major digital divide within the non-profit sector
  • A structural decline in public subsidies
  • Essential organizations struggling with a lack of visibility
  • Limited access to sustainable digital tools
  • Growing difficulty in financing not only a website, but its long-term maintenance

In light of these challenges, it was obvious we needed to do more. This led to the creation of Kern4Good 2.0: a full Social Sponsoring initiative built to support non-profits through a model of shared resources, professional guidance, and solidarity-based funding.

Today, we are officially launching Cohort 1

Why Kern4Good

Non-profits play an essential role, yet they are often ill-equipped to face digital challenges.
At the same time, companies are looking for new ways to act, contribute, and have a real social impact.

Kern4Good builds a lasting bridge between these two worlds.

The program aims to:

  • Provide non-profits with professional and sustainable websites
  • Pool efforts across design, marketing, development, and training
  • Support multiple organizations collectively as a group
  • Create a shared sounding board for both sponsors and participants
  • Reduce costs by streamlining the digital supply chain
  • Enhance social impact through structured, collaborative work

The three financial pillars of the program

To build Kern4Good in a sustainable, consistent, and realistic way, we have defined three funding levels.
Each milestone corresponds to a specific degree of impact and program capacity.

  1. Minimum milestone: € 50,000

This amount fully funds the websites and the professional guidance for the current cohort.
It includes:

  • Design
  • Development
  • Shared technical infrastructure
  • Support
  • Collaborative workshops
  1. Recommended target: € 75,000

This tier allows us to go further in supporting our partner associations.
It strengthens:

  • Marketing and communication
  • Training workshops
  • Collaborative work
  • Collective visibility
  • Project dissemination
  1. Ideal traget: € 100,000

This amount represents the full vision of Kern4Good.
It enables:

  • Fully funding the current cohort
  • Kickstarting the next cohort
  • Ensuring the program's long-term continuity
  • Guaranteeing the model's annual stability

All funds are used to finance:

  • The websites of the selected non-profits
  • Their professional guidance and support
  • Collaborative work within the cohort
  • The launch and initial phases of the next cohort

Total transparency. Zero margin. Zero profit.

An approach based on resource sharing

To maximize social impact, we have decided to pool every possible stage of the program.
This approach delivers professional quality while significantly reducing costs.

Kern4Good shares:

  • Website design
  • Marketing strategy
  • Workshops and group sessions with non-profits
  • Inspiration and idea sharing
  • Codebase and technical components
  • In-depth work on structure and content
  • Advanced training
  • Collective cohort communication
  • Final reporting

This collaborative methodology creates an environment where every association progresses faster, benefits from stronger support, and thrives on the power of the group.

Cohort 1: official launch

The first Kern4Good cohort is now open.
Several organizations have already been selected, and there are only two spots left.

We are looking for non-profits that:

  • Have a clear and powerful social mission
  • Have a genuine need for a new website or a redesign
  • Seek to enhance their digital visibility
  • Are ready to collaborate within a collective dynamic
  • Are committed to a long-term impact approach

The Role of Companies: Social Sponsoring with Real Impact

This program exists thanks to the companies that choose to become sponsors.
They fund the cohort and, in return, benefit from:

  • Authentic visibility
  • Concrete ESG engagement
  • An opportunity for social action
  • A place within an engaged community
  • Real and measurable impact

Sponsors don’t fund an invoice: they fund a collective impact.

Amplifying impact, together.

Kern4Good is not just about creating websites.
It aims to build a sustainable ecosystem where non-profits and companies move forward together, share their strengths, and build a solid, lasting impact.

Together, we can go further.
Together, we can strengthen the social fabric.
Together, we can give non-profits the tools they deserve.
